About Dr. Robert J. Knisley, Cpa

I am an Associate Professor of Accounting at Wheaton College. My current research interests include: corporate governance, audit committee characteristics, audit team interactions, as well as fraud and forensic accounting. Before transitioning into academia, I had the opportunity to work in three unique and challenging industries including electric and gas, public accounting, and healthcare. These experiences allowed me to hone my accounting and finance skills. In closing, I have a passion for teaching and feel a calling to use my training and professional experiences to inform and educate the next generation of business leaders.
