Monitored bat activity in 16 sites in Washington D.C. using Wildlife Acoustics’ bat recording devices.Analyzed over 400,000 recordings using Kaleidoscope Pro Analysis software to identify how and where D.C.’s 8 species of bat were active throughout the summer. Manually vetted waveforms to assure the quality and accuracy of all results.Created data representations such as graphs, charts, and heat maps to make large swaths of data digestible.Mist netted in various urban sites to catch multiple species of bats, including the big brown bat (Eptesicus fuscus), the northern long-eared bat (Myotis septentrionalis), and more.Handled live bats, including an endangered species, recording data such as weight, forearm length, tragus length, ear length, fitness, and age.

Implemented SEO best practices and followrf the latest SEO trends and guidelines to ensure the website and blog were user-friendly, relevant, and authoritative. Performed on-page and off-page SEO tasks such as meta tags, title tags, headings, internal links, external links, citations, and social media sharing.
