    Having started BtL in 2002 with just £10,000 myself and assembled team organically grew the company to £5M turnover with an ebitda of £568K. We were successful in both the corporate and SME space providing a full range of telecoms and cloud IT services. When BtL was formed it was with the then unusual proposition of providing joined up communication and IT services. In 2002 this was rare even amongst multinational providers. I am proud of our very high customer retention rate of 90% plus over the period and that we were able to develop successful careers for so many apprentices and graduates (more than 50). We were particularly strong in the recruitment and publishing sector with notable wins that were retained until the very end. I am happy to say that I remain friends with BtL's 2 biggest customers and many of my former employees. In 2016 we were selected as a launch party for CityFibre for the Thames Valley and successfully met our targets and connected over 400 new name clients to the CityFibre full fibre network. We deployed numerous innovative strategies to secure significant new business and cross sell our portfolio. In 2019 we were approached by Arrow Business Services who acquired a 100% of the share capital of BtL After months of due diligence and negotiation we agreed a cash sell with a 100% of the money up front. We achieved a multiple well above average for the sector. BtL's aim was to serve medium and large organisations with managed ICT services choosing from an extensive array of wholesale relationships with hardware, cloud and Network service providers. We blend these to create a "unique" proposition, supported by great software & support processes to provide a genuine one stop solution.
