Responsible for business development and growth, budgeting, and delivery of EBITDA targets; strategic planning, new product architecture, strategic partnerships and delivery of services. Business lines included: cloud services; bespoke software consulting services; middle office and risk management outsourcing placement; reconciliation, risk management and middle office services.

In charge of the technology that supported the AIS business lines within State Street. The mandate was to keep the business running while looking for opportunities to integrate with central IT and achieve economies of scale. I managed a team of roughly 300 FTEs divided into infrastructure, application development, and production support teams. Duties included: architecture management, application delivery, IT support, infrastructure and data center management; program management, third-party product evaluation and purchasing decisions; capacity planning, disaster recovery and business continuity; budgeting and resource management; integration with State Street corporate initiatives and on-boarding/assimilation of newly acquired businesses onto the AIS platforms.

Part of the senior team that built the fund administration business from the ground up. Over the span of 8 years, we grew IFS from 15 employees and 5 client funds in New York, to 1800 employees, 700+ funds under management, and multiple international offices.As head of application development, my main focus was to automate business processes to achieve scale and reduce errors. We designed and built or purchased and integrated. Our solutions allowed IFS to collect data, perform services, and deliver results to client funds around the world. My teams architected, built, supplied, and supported the software to capture client transactions; reconcile to third parties; perform middle office functions; deliver portfolio and accounting data, calculate NAVs and perform shareholder tasks.
