Robert is a resourceful leader with a passion for delivering high quality software and state-of-the-art technology solutions. Robert started his career as a software programmer working on trading and risk management applications for clients in the financial services industry. Over the last 20 years, Robert has worked primarily with hedge funds and their administrators. Firstly, at an entrepreneurial level with a small team helping to grow a new fund administrator, more recently at an enterprise level directing a team of several hundred for a large fund administrator. Along the way, Robert has acquired a deep knowledge of the inner working of hedge funds and how technology can help them better execute their own trading strategies, meet regulatory demands, and optimize their workflows. He also has a unique knowledge of how to optimize the interfaces and services between hedge funds and administrators. Robert has been exposed to a wide variety of roles across many different projects. He has learned the value of sound software engineering practices, robust development methodologies, and carefully planned implementations. He has seen the benefits of a transparent collaborative process with responsibilities shared across all interested parties.Partnering with senior business leaders, he developed a deep understanding of the business side of the financial industry. Combining this with his background in physics and problem solving, Robert is able to translate strategic business problems into prioritized technology deliverables.
