I am an experienced Fire Officer and Emergency Services professional with over 20+ years of Fire Service experience. I have worked in Iraq and Afghanistan as a contractor providing fire protective services and supervision for the US and NATO military forces in those regions. My years of experience give me a broad skill set and expertise in fire suppression, inspections as well as code enforcement. I believe in taking the personal approach in regards to training others so that they learn quicker and may then excel and provide the utmost in customer service. In my current position as Safety Consultant/Emergency Manager for the Central Prison Healthcare complex, my responsibilities include: effective communication with all departments, conduct comprehensive safety/environmental audits, monitor safety conditions, equipment and procedures, maintain regular ongoing safety inspections, analyze inspection results, write accurate reports of comprehensive safety audits, develop corrective actions in accordance with applicable standards, develop and conduct regular safety related training programs, maintain documentation of fire protection and utilities management, provide technical expertise and recommendations for the development and implementation of safety policies and procedures, serve on safety policy development sub-committees, manage safety related pilot projects, provide accurate and up to date interpretations of safety policies, procedures and standards, develop action plans to resolve facility problems and working effectively to ensure that code and operating violations are kept to a minimum and fines are eliminated. Honesty and integrity are paramount in any business dealings and I believe that those individuals who do not hold to those principals do not belong in business or representing any entity with which I am employed.
