After leaving Raytheon, I was contracted to an education consultancy providing bookkeeping and accounting services, to a high net worth individual providing business and accounting services and to an engineering firm providing accounts support.

In this role I supervised three teams of training analysts carrying out training needs analysis and designing and developing technical training for the Ministry of Defence in order to create a modern blended learning solution. Tasks include:Supervising the teams carrying out detailed works analysis, ensuring that all teams are adhering to the Raytheon processes and procedures and MoD proceduresManaging all aspects of day to day running of the teams including sickness, lateness, leave requirements and general conductProvide MoD customer supportManaging, maintaining and improving relationships within the Raytheon company, the Metrix consortium, the RAF and the MoDProject Management and schedule planningScheduling for Subject Matter Expert inputManaging budget constraints/considerationsWeekly and monthly reporting for senior management and the customerResponsible for on time delivery of contract customer deliverables and successful closure of multi million pound project milestones

After leaving Sage I worked as a Software Consultant and Trainer working on various implementation projects and training end users on using Sage 50 Accounts whilst also managing the accounts of several small businesses.

Reporting to the Regional Training Manager, the purpose of my role was to deliver effective and professional training solutions to Sage customers, to the highest quality standards. Although this was a technical training position, delivering training on Sage software, the courses include training on accounting practices and payroll legislation. I would also work 1:2:1 with customers learning about their business processes to ensure that they were getting the most out of the system and making recommendations for change where appropriate, according to their individual business needs. Although based in Croydon, my role involved travel throughout the UK.

Working as a trainer within the Customer Loyalty Department at BUPA, my duties were varied and included training for the department, involvement in recruitment and support for the main call centre, monitoring adviser activity and call volumes. Whilst in this position I have designed and delivered training on soft skills, Sales, BUPA’s products and BUPA’s in-house computer systems to new employees in the department via the new inductio n process. Part of the induction process required me to manage a ‘model office’ environment where, after training, new employees would spend 4 weeks taking calls from customers with 1:2:1 mentoring. I would also handle any escalated calls whilst in model office. I would also carry out TNA for existing employees, setting performance plans and helping achieve the desired outcome of the performance plans thought 1:2:1 coaching.This role also entailed working on numerous projects that included new initiatives, software, products and compliance.
