Trinity Rehab Services provides contract rehab therapy services to post-acute settings. These services include Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy. Elected as a Member of the Board of NASL Board in September 2015.The National Association for the Support of Long Term Care (NASL) is a trade association representing the legislative and regulatory interests of over 100 companies providing physical, occupational and speech-language pathology therapies; portable x-ray/EKG and ultrasound; health information.

As the first CIO for this company, initial tasks included a complete technology audit and creation of an IT related Strategic Plan for for seven nursing homes and one assisted living facility located in 5 states. After the plan was approved, we initiated implementation of this plan.

Many hats are worn during merger transitions. As usual, the initial focus has been on making this transition as easy as possible for our employees and customers. With nearly 500 locations in 32 states, we have been busy. As with all mergers, new learning occurs with the tasks of automating payroll processes; streamlining invoice processes; online.

• Responsible for managing the overall planning/strategy, day to day operations and development/deployment of all IT functions in all field locations throughout the company. A few of the tasks completed during this time.
• Senior Management planning and strategy development during multiple Medicare reimbursement changes
• Project leader for implementation of EMR software across ~175 buildings in 28 states. This was completed within 9 months.
• Coordinated Interface development with customer software (most ‘major’ LTC software vendors)
• Redesign of company website, including development of secure intranet with automated payroll (ADP) interface of active users
• Review, selection and training of Audio Bridge and Web Conferencing Software

Responsible for managing the education, training, quality assurance and compliance programs of the region. This included multi-day education courses; development of all course and resource materials; and application for multi-state CEU approvals.

Performed daily management activities of company including marketing, financial tracking and provision of temporary physical therapy coverage in various locations and settings.

Provided short term coverage as a Rehab Manager or therapist at Acute Care Hospital, Outpatient Clinical Settings, and Inpatient Rehabilitation Facilities.

Completed market assessments to identify Therapy related healthcare services needed. Based on the findings, we set strategy for Program Development and then implemented this strategy. Using this process, we were able to provide needed services to more patients at each location.
