Providing critical support for the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and transit agencies across the country in order to meet national safety guidelines and regulations.I develop and design learning materials, curriculum, and performance support tools for in-person and virtual workshops for clients, and work to continually improve the training development process and create new training solutions.In addition to training development, I am part of the state safety oversight (SSO) team that conducts audits of state safety oversight agencies (SSOAs) on behalf of the FTA, ensuring that designated SSOAs are enforcing federal regulations at the RTAs in their jurisdiction.I have a deep understanding of federal law and regulations related to transit safety, including Safety Management Systems (SMS) and its implementation in the field of public transit.

Developed curricula and online courses for domestic and international travel programs. Part of a team responsible for assessing quality of student work for high school and college credit courses. I was the lead instructional designer of custom curriculum for high-value custom programs. Wrote and edited educational journals with content and activities for students that accompanied the travel program. Developed hands-on, experiential learning activities for students on domestic and international travel programs. Presented at top educational conferences and delivered professional development sessions in the US and abroad. Various other projects include developing live online ESL lessons for Chinese HS students, developing a full 7-day ESL program for Chinese students in Oxford, UK, and chaperoning a group of college theater directors at Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Taught English to 6th and 7th grade students of various nationalities, as well as advanced classes for native and fluent English speakers in 4th and 5th grades. Obtained excellent results on official state English exams, Cambridge, and Trinity English Exams. Operated in a tri-lingual workplace (Spanish, Catalan & English) in the 9th-ranked school in Spain (El Mundo).

Taught English as a foreign language to elementary and lower-secondary Spanish students (ages 10-13, B1-level English), upper secondary (ages 15-18, B1+), and adults (ages 21+, B2). Differentiated lessons to fit a range of levels.

Prepared students for Trinity Graded Examination in Spoken English (GESE - Grades 4/5) and Cambridge KET and PET Exams (grade 6). Obtained 95% overall pass rate on all exams. Designed and created an original portfolio as part of my concurrent Master’s thesis
