Was active with CLEAResult's team developing electric vehicle (EV) programs for utility clients including programs that build customer awareness, enable utility managed charging and DERMS integration, and charging network site selection.

Focused on delivering GridTech's professional services with utility and energy companies. Services included advisory work to help clients shape their operational or technology strategies in areas such as Smart Grid, Demand Response, Renewables, or Energy Trading. Focus areas included Distribution Operations including implementation of OMS, DMS, Demand Response, and Distributed Generation solutions. Also focused on AMI and MDM solutions and entire meter-to-cash business process including end-customer engagement solutions focused on increasing customer satisfaction and/or participation in utility energy efficiency programs.

As a Director with The Structure Group (Structure merged with Accenture in Jan 2015) was responsible for selling and delivering Structure's management consulting and system integration services to energy trading and regulated utility companies. Leveraged the firm’s delivery methodology and practice area capabilities to work with clients to develop business strategies or IT roadmaps, select and implement technology solutions, redesign business processes and optimize existing operations. Primary focus was on managing and growing smart grid consulting revenue with focus on distribution operations and related services. As part of the firm’s management team, provided leadership to drive corporate strategy and operations; participated in recruiting, career development and retention of resources; and ensured firm objectives for revenue and income were being met.

As Director of Sales and Marketing of a small start-up firm was involved in many aspects of the company's operations and reported to the COO. Primary responsibility was business development and sales targeted at enterprise clients. Also led all aspects of marketing, advertising and communications. This role required the development of solutions for clients based on the Field2Base technology as well as development of business cases to justify client investment. The role required selling across industry verticals including construction, healthcare, insurance, utilities, engineering, and others.

Served in several roles in marketing and product marketing at Itron. Was primary focused on Itron's Energy Information Systems software products serving as marketing analyst, marketing manager and ultimately as Director of Product Marketing. Performed traditional product marketing responsibilities, represented Itron at industry trade events, and supported sales. Also acted as sales lead for Itron's pursuit of projects with ISO/ RTO clients across the US. In these roles was exposed to a large cross section of utility clients across the US including IOUs, municipalities and cooperatives.

Worked in the Strategy group within Deloitte's Energy Practice. Participated in a variety of business transformation projects with various utilities during this time. Worked on a large number of pre-deal synergy assessments as part of planned or anticipated utility mergers. Supported several utility business divestitures resulting from deregulation.

Provided engineering assessments relative to nuclear power plant asset utilization and life cycle studies throughout the Southeast. Primary responsibilities included project management, client facilitation, and management of detailed engineering evaluations for project activities

Worked for a strategic engineering group engaged in nuclear asset analysis functions with primary focus on license renewal of the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant (CCNP). CCNP eventually became the first nuclear power plant in the country to achieve renewal of its initial operating license.
