From my earliest memories, I have always been inquisitive about, and respectful of, all peoples and ethnicities, their cultures and ways of life. I have continually dreamt of venturing out to all corners of the world to experience all that life would afford me. I am grateful for my successes, as such visions have led me to live and work around the globe, in Iceland, in China, for 14 years in Japan, and the last 15 years in Chicago. I wish to keep and eye open for any viable opportunities that may come my way where I can use my diverse experiences to the betterment of an organization in order to make that enterprise as successful as possible. When asked to choose one word that would best describe myself, I have always believed that "adaptable" is the word that captures the essence of who I am. One would have to be adaptable, if nothing else, to have lived in the places that I have called home and to have successfully served in the variety of capacities in which I have worked and functioned. I am a quick study and enjoy furthering my education. I also believe that I am astutely perceptive, which has led to my success as an editor and proofreader.
