I directed all operations for this Manufacturer Sales Representative agency that represented 16-20 separate manufacturers domestically and abroad and their diverse product lines and sales cycles. Our annual sales averaged between $4 – 6 million. I managed a sales force covering 10 southeastern states while personally maintaining a 3 state territory and servicing the industry’s largest wholesale customer in the U.S. I recruited, hired, and trained high performing salesmen from the wholesale/distributor to the manufacturer’s representative level. Additionally, I excelled in new product development; branded and led lines to industry-leading market positions. I pioneered several lines to over $1-2 million in sales, regularly exceeding $1M+ annual quotas and customer acquisition targets. I secured multiple $1M+ contracts for our agency resulting in six digit increases to company's bottom line revenue. I transformed our agency's brands' pipeline of distribution to a majority of the business flowing through the online eCommerce marketplace, transitioning the Agency's business to over 60% in eCommerce channels. We were extremely successful adapting to the rapidly evolving online pipeline of product distribution creating significant growth while maintaining the highest standards for our manufacturers in the online retail sector. We had many significant achievements at May Co., including maintaining the longest factory/manufacturer rep relationship in the industry at 68 years. We represented most factories for more than 20 years.
