The first thing that I accomplished as Director of Placement was developing a 20+ page training manual for the department outlining goals, responsibilities, and expectations for the department and its employees.Next, I implemented a twelve-week training course for the students called the "pre-grad plan". The pre-grad plan provides students with one-on-one training in job seeking activities such as résumé writing, social media presence, portfolio development, and mock interviewing. I completed this program by developing a 24-page workbook developed from scratch.I'm responsible for hosting workshops for the students. There is a regular rotation of résumé writing and panel interview workshops provided for any interested student. I have also hosted a LinkedIn workshop, as well as supervised the production of a Networking workshop.In the first year of leadership in the department, my staff was responsible for inviting and touring, over 80 employers to the CCNN campus. This was an effort to get feedback from the employers on program development as well as provide insight as to how we are currently training our students.I have completed ten different, industry specific, training courses on placement best practices. I'm will be graduating from the PACE leadership program in November.Placement rates have increased by 13% since I have taken over the department with some programs increasing as much 20%. This is with the number of graduates increasing in some programs as low as 215% up to 700%.

As a Territory Account Manager, I was responsible for over 150 retail, and on-premise accounts managing fast-moving consumer goods, such as craft beer (Guinness, PBR, Deschutes, Sierra Nevada, Stone Brewing), energy drinks, juices, and liquors. I participated in beer festivals, on-site sampling, and POS advertising for all of my accounts. I worked with a distributor sales team that saw 10-12% annual growth during the recession. I started working as a merchandiser stocking shelves and in less than a year I was promoted to the position of sales consultant.
