I am now a life member of that organization. I maintained my local roots as I graduated from Roanoke College with a BA in Urban Studies. My local government service began as I was appointed a member of the City of Salem Industrial Development Authority, later the Roanoke Valley-Alleghany Regional Commission, and I completed nine years on the Roanoke City Board of Zoning Appeals. I enjoy working in my community, and look forward to doing so for many years to come!
