PhD candidate at the University of Pittsburgh. Currently researching methods to enhance cybersecurity in embedded control/cyber-physical systems. These methods include the use of fully homomorphic encryption (FHE) schemes for end-to-end protection of control system signals and parameters.Previous research includes the development of an artificial intelligence tool that integrated risk assessment, supply chain dynamics, and state estimation techniques. This tool reduced uncertainty surrounding the costs organizations encountered during supply chain and operation and maintenance (O&M) decision-making.I have 4+ years of industry experience in the electrical/nuclear engineering field designing I&C software for advanced nuclear reactors. Applied my knowledge to aid in the design of a number of I&C systems in Westinghouse's AP1000 reactor unit. Began my undergraduate education with Duquesne University on the 3-2 Binary Engineering track - a dual degree program with physics and engineering. The engineering education was given by the University of Pittsburgh. As shown by my profile I chose the electrical engineering discipline with a concentration in power and a strong interest in the generation of nuclear energy. I completed both degrees in December of 2015 with the addition of a Nuclear Engineering Certificate.
