The First Responder Community is a not for profit charity dedicated to providing equipment, services and Respite Care to the thousands of everyday heroes (police, military, firefighter, paramedics and rescuers) who have put their own lives on the front line to defend and safeguard others. Many male and female first responders are injured and incapacitated daily as a direct result of their heroic duties during their unconditional service. This First Responder Community group endeavours to create activities that will give veteran first responders a reason to live whilst providing physical assistance (mobility, physiotherapy and recreational equipment that will make their life easier to endure.

This is a volunteer roll where we assist the development of programs that provide members of men's sheds around the country with activities to write and take photographs of historical significance. In Defence I had worked in Industry Division on numerous projects developing bespoke IT systems and acquiring other COTS systems for use across the Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO). I transferred to the Capability Development Group (CDG) in 2005 and developed the Defence Encyclopedia in collaboration with the Defence Science and Technology Organisation (DSTO) and established an IT presence for the Project Document Suite (PDS) for Project Managers.
