I have been involved with SQL Server since 1994 when Microsoft split it off from Sybase. So I have been involved with database design, development, and administration, with over 20 years in data warehousing. In the last 15 years, I have been working with Data Warehousing and Reporting using the SQL Server BI stack (SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS) in commercial mortgage servicing, in credit union, financial services, and Healthcare. I have been teaching sessions at the Houston Techfest for over 10 years.     Designed, developed and implemented a data warehouse on SQL Server 2014, 2016 and 2017 based on the core banking system in Oracle 12C. Added different external systems; loan collection, dialer system, loan origination, online account and loan opening, insurance, wealth, etc. into the data warehouse. During core banking system conversion moved all file delivery off of SSRS subscriptions and into SSIS packages. Changed file delivery into self-service reporting using SSRS as a report portal. Work with an external vendor as a CUSO (Credit Union Service Organization) in the development of a core system agnostic data warehouse and mapping the data from the DNA core into it. Worked on the strategic initiative for leveraging data to deliver the 2019 goals in 3 months before the goal was doubled. Implemented Power BI desktop as a self-service analytics platform for the business analysts in different business units. Developed views against the data warehouse for easier use in the Power BI models. Was appointed interim manager of the Information Management and Analytics department while they searched for one.
