Senior Advisor at Platige Image - a leading Polish animation & film studio - supporting the communication and merits of “Another Day of Life” feature animated movie; combining my expertise in the sphere of communication with the academic knowledge.My role was to enhance this project with academic knowledge and built a broad platform of institutions and organizations that supported its dissemination and public recognition, as well as prepare communication materials.Platige Image, together with five other European studios, brought to life an exceptional work by Ryszard Kapuściński – “Another Day of Life”, a stirring story introducing the dawn of Angola’s independence. It not only introduces the dramatic account of the three months Kapuściński spent in 1975 in Angola at the beginning of its decades’ long civil war. During his journey Kapuściński explores the vastness of humanity, discovers the postcolonial puzzles, but also he reveals the scene of global relations and inter-dependencies that are still being echoed in the contemporary reality.The film has been constructed based on two carefully directed narrative layers: stylized animation and documentary footage that together recreate the world of Angola at the eve of its independence and Kapuściński’s path into the understanding, empathy and action.
