As VP of Research at Resonate, he lead data science, analytics, and market research for one of the US' leading marketing technology companies. Before coming on board with Resonate, he was a Senior Director in Merkle’s Advanced Methods & Research group. He and his team were involved in numerous projects to support well-known global brands such as MetLife, UnderArmour, Lowe’s, HBO, Samsung, Wells Fargo, Regions, Shire, American Heart Association, and Assurant, to help them market more effectively and more efficiently through consumer insights and the application of advanced marketing analytics to key strategic questions. Before coming to Merkle, Bob served as the Director of Marketing Science for Cox Communications, managing the needs of their entire Central Region. In addition to having 16 years of leadership experience in marketing, research and analytics, Bob has a BS in Math & MS in Applied Math from BYU, MS in Statistics from Wichita State, an executive MBA from the Marriott School of Management, and completed his doctorate at Wichita State University focusing in quantitative and consumer psychology.
