Employed by the USAF 96th Cyberspace Test Group (CTG), 46th Test Squadron (TS), at Eglin AFB, Florida, supporting developmental test & evaluation (DT&E) of new and modified Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems and capabilities. Developmental test support for C4ISR system platforms and associated peripherals to include installation, setup / configuration, system testing, Verification & Validation, test planning and report documentation development, and other applicable duties. Continued support for the developmental testing of the USAF v (10) version of the ATNAVICS (Air Traffic Navigation, Integration and Coordination System), a mobile, self-contained, tactical Airport Surveillance Radar (ASR) and Precision Approach Radar (PAR) system that provides Air Traffic Service (ATS) at designated airfields and landing sites.

Developmental / Operational test support for C4ISR system platforms and associated peripherals to include installation, setup / configuration, system testing, V&V, test plan / report documentation development, RMA data collection, and other applicable duties.

Support for the Sensor Systems - Aerial Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SS-AISR) Program in the Southwest Asia theater of operations. Support of aircraft platforms include MARSS (Medium Altitude Reconnaissance Surveillance System), VADER (Vehicle and Dismount Exploitation Radar), and the Constant Hawk Wide-area Persistent Surveillance System. Provide system / device troubleshooting, problem evaluation, repair, and maintenance on MX-15 HDi EO/IR multi-spectral sensor systems and associated sub-systems and peripherals. Perform required pre- and post-flight system check out of all applicable system equipment. Configuration setup and secure crypto key loading using AN/PYQ-10(C) Simple Key Loader (SKL) for IFF, GPS, KG-250X Network Encryptor, and radio systems to include the AN/PRC-117G, AN/ARC-210, and AN/ARC-231 . Documentation and implementation of applicable hardware / software configuration changes and support for scheduled aircraft phase inspections.

Support for the Base Expeditionary Targeting Surveillance System – Combined/Rapid Aerostat Initial Deployment (BETSS-C/RAID), Elevated Sensors Program, which provides intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR) and force protection capability to U.S. and Coalition Forces in Southwest Asia. ► Successful completion of an intensive and comprehensive, sixteen week qualification course conducted by CACI at the BETSS-C Training Academy, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, with emphasis on the following subjects: SGS v1.5.14, RAID Sensors, FP Sensors (for SGS), Cerberus LRT 2.2 / 3.0, Cerberus Light Scout, RDISS, 80-ft RAID / 107-ft RAID / 80-ft PSS-G Towers.►Sub-system training on the following: Unattended Ground Sensors (UGS) for intrusion detection (both BAIS and MIDS), Thermal Imagery sensors (MRTI, LRTI, FLIR Star Safire III), Near Infrared (NIR) Illuminators, Ground Surveillance Radars (ARSS-1, MSTAR), Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) cameras, wireless radio systems (Proxim Wireless Tsunami MP.11, Models 5054-R and 2454-R; Cirronet Model HN-1010/HN-1510; Premiere Wireless AG-6100 Radio, Models AG-6110/AG-6120; Motorola PTP-600 Series Point-to-Point Wireless Bridges), applicable Command and Control Systems.

Selected as the Electro-Optical / Infrared (EO/IR) Sensor Technical Consultant and Trainer to provide technical assistance to Northrop-Grumman Corporation in support of an EO/IR sensor system upgrade program for a North African customer. Provided subject matter expertise to the program in the form of technical documentation development, technical manual updates, training material development, and subsequent oversight and management of in-country operational and maintenance training for customer personnel.► Provided subject matter expertise to the program in the form of technical documentation development/update, training plan development, training material development, and subsequent in-country instruction on applicable upgraded equipment and changes to system concept of operations.► Oversight and management of in-country operational and maintenance training for customer personnel to include training area selection and classroom setup, scheduling, coordination, and conduct. ► Led the on-site instruction provided to the customer on both aircraft and in classroom environment. Managed training rosters, training schedules, test materials, student evaluations.► Management of additional training personnel to include two instructors from L3-WESCAM who provided operational and maintenance training on the MX-15HDi EO/IR Sensor system.► Received training at SRI International – Sarnoff campus for the Video Editing & Storage Workstation used on the program.

Early release from previous employer due to Department of Defense (DOD) mandated cutbacks requiring a forty percent reduction of program personnel on the program. During this time, I worked on important personal matters, spent some much needed time with family, submitted numerous employment applications which resulted in some interviews and prospects, and conducted small business research and preparation.

Selected as a subject matter expert to support the RAID-SGS (Standard Ground Station) elevated sensor system for the Base Expeditionary Targeting Surveillance System – Combined/Rapid Aerostat Initial Deployment (BETSS-C/RAID), Elevated Sensors Program, in support of U.S. and Coalition Forces in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.► Three week qualification course, which included extensive training on the latest version of the RAID elevated sensor system, SGS Command and Control segment and performance of all applicable hardware/software upgrades, system familiarization, verification testing, and customer training.► Assigned as SGS-SME for the Sharana, Afghanistan, Area of Operations (AO), in Regional Command East (RC-E), in support of 20+ SGS systems. ► Handled all SGS items and issues related to system operational and technical support to include system troubleshooting/configuration, setup/configuration of routers/switches/hard drives, installation of firmware/software/hardware system updates and upgrades.

Selected as a Senior FSR In-Country Lead, and Site Manager, to support the Base Expeditionary Targeting Surveillance System – Combined/Rapid Aerostat Initial Deployment (BETSS-C/RAID), Elevated Sensors Program, which provides intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR) and force protection capability to U.S. and Coalition Forces in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.► Twelve week qualification course, with training on the RAID system, Cerberus platform, Force Protection Suite (FPS), Rapid Deployment Integrated Surveillance System (RDISS), and Standard Ground Station (SGS) Interoperability.► Upon arrival in-country, assigned by In-Country program management as the FSR Lead and Site Manager at Shindand Air Base. Support of the Persistent Threat Detection System (PTDS), an aerostat-based system used in surveillance, reconnaissance, force protection, and counter-IED missions in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Provided technical support that encompassed maintenance on Aerostat, Mobile Mooring Platform, and associated support equipment. Site Manager at FOB Wilson.► Technical support on Aerostat, Avionics, State of Health packages, Mobile Mooring Platform (hydraulics and electrical), EO/IR camera system, and associated support equipment. Operation of system in support of unit operations.► Led installation/setup team for new site at FOB Wilson and assigned as site manager in charge of 15 personnel. ► Functioned as IT Lead at FOB Wazah Khwah and Camp Nathan Smith, in charge of IT infrastructure system communications hardware and associated software applications.► Comprehensive knowledge of the following systems: Falcon View GIS mapping utility, Control of Lynx and Analysis Workstation (CLAWII) GIS mapping and targeting utility, Joint Services Work Station (JSWS), Unattended Transient Acoustic MASINT Sensor (UTAMS) with solar power generation, Fiber Optics termination and testing, post-mission imagery analysis, video production and editing, and more than 2500 hours operating and maintaining of WESCAM MX-20 modular-turreted EO/IR surveillance and laser targeting system (both Analog and HD versions).► Authored numerous documents and users guides related to system hardware / software applications to provide a means of operating and troubleshooting the system by novices as well as experienced operators, and for leading cross-training sessions for new users.► Supported system installation, integration, and use of the following subsystems: Optical Promise, Enhanced Position Location Reporting System (EPLRS), Single-Channel Ground and Airborne Radio System (SINCGARS), One-System Remote Video Terminal (OSRVT), and Unattended Transient Acoustic MASINT Sensor (UTAMS).

Supported the Fighter Aircraft Command and Control Enhancement (FAC2E) Pod Subsystem, an iridium-based, beyond-line-of-site (BLOS) satellite telephone communications system. Operated and maintained 20 systems and provided support and instruction to U.S. military personnel on the system at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan.► Provided review and assessment of system Concept of Operations for Program Manager.► Setup and tested all systems including Iridium modems and Multiband Inter/Intra Team Radio (MBITR) AN/PRC-148 (V) (C) radio assemblies.► Facilitated implementation of all flight line operational procedures including distribution, loading / unloading, electro-mechanical interface and preflight testing.► Authored and instituted group safety procedures, resulting in zero injuries during tenure on contract.► Established a means for tracking, logging, storing, and disposing of all hazardous materials used in support of the system.► Developed maintenance criteria that delivered a 96% reliability rate for the system and amended the training curriculum that assisted pilots and maintenance crews working on the system.

Supported the USAFE Rangeless Interim Training System (URITS), an air combat maneuvering and instrumentation (ACMI) System used in the training of fighter pilots. Served as Technical Lead for the URITS Display and Debriefing System (UDDS). Supported joint military training exercises conducted at the Gulf Air Warfare Center, Al Dhafra AB, United Arab Emirates.► Supported joint training exercises conducted twice per year by the Gulf Air Warfare Center, Al Dhafra AB, United Arab Emirates.► Provided operations and maintenance of UDDS system, supporting post-mission debriefing of fighter pilots, which included mission setup and loading of all software for mission profiles and authoring the UDDS System User’s Guide to provide a baseline for system setup during live training missions, which dramatically decreased the time required to setup daily missions and increased operational efficiency.► Facilitated system installation and use on F-15 Strike Eagle, F-16 Falcon, F-3 Tornado, and Mirage 2000-5 /-9 aircraft platforms.► Played a key role in the customer’s total satisfaction by personally setting up all missions and system configuration data, including post-mission debriefs on the UDDS system, contributing to a 95% reliability rate overall.

Supported Jordanian Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation System (ACMI) and function as On-Site Manager and Technical Advisor to the Royal Jordanian Air Force for the ACMI System, in Hashemite, Kingdom of Jordan.► Led technical support and training for Air Combat Training and Integrated Visual Environment (ACTIVE) graphical user interface (GUI) system, Real-Time Monitor System (RTMS), providing real time TDMA data link display capability to GUI system, Air Combat Maneuvering Instrumentation (ACMI) Pod airborne subsystem using GPS satellite positioning instrumentation.► Authored all user and maintenance manuals for all subsystem components; created Mission Setup guides, providing start to finish instructions for setting up all mission parameters.► Provided OJT for RJAF customer to include operation, maintenance, and repair of all airborne and ground system components. System hardware and software training, concept of operations, post mission processing of mission data.► Developed the System Site Acceptance Test Procedures for final buyoff of the system, with testing being conducted at three different installations that were largely geographically separated, which allowed for system buyoff, increasing the company’s bottom line.► Regular interface with all RJAF command levels to include flag officers and His Royal Highness, LGen Prince Faisal, Chief of the Air Staff, regarding air warfare training exercises and system related issues. ► Regular interface with U.S. Embassy, USAF Air Attaché regarding air warfare training exercises and system related issues.

Supported the Multi-Functional Range Instrumentation System (MRIS), an air combat maneuvering and instrumentation (ACMI) system used in the training of fighter pilots. Served as the on-site Technical Advisor to the Republic of China Air Force (ROCAF) for the system.► Ensured the effective installation, testing, and usage of both ground and airborne system components, which used TDMA data links, GPS satellite positioning with inertial measurement instrumentation.► Provided maintenance and operational direction on MRIS ACMI System to ROCAF personnel, serving as the sole company representative for the system and leading concurrent training for the customer.► Delivered on-site engineering, maintenance, and technical support during all aspects of system testing, verification, and validation.
