I am a film geek; my nickname at work is "RMDB" (get it? not IMDB). That gives you a clear idea what rattles around in my brain. But it goes further than that. It takes more than an encyclopedic knowledge to make it in this industry. It takes follow through, achievement, and nurturing the right relationships.My main goal after college was to work at a company heavily involved in digital media. Filmmaking is my passion and it's excited to be a part of the work done on digital platforms that redefines TV, Film and the Internet. I started at digital camera company in 2004 when "24p film look" first started taking hold. Since then, I've worked alongside that industry as it's firmly implanted itself in daytime TV, reality TV, web productions, and major motion picture productions.I had to step away from the film/video world for a few years to take control of my family's real estate company after my mother suffered a stroke. I became a full time Realtor, operated as Vice President of the company and brought the company back from near ruin. As the market crashed I sold my interest in the company and took the opportunity to return to Hollywood in 2008.Since then, I’ve grown in each position. I’ve learned from some amazing mentors while leading high-achieving teams. At Manfrotto, I worked within the largest content equipment company in the world, liaising between divisions and engaging with heavyweights like Disney, ABC, Universal, and Apple. At Matthews, I was able to get back on set for a quick minute and engage directly with crew both personally and in media.Outside of work I enjoy going to the movies, engaging with my children, writing and working on side content projects. Specialties: problem solving, public relations, project management, data management, copy editing, team leadership, goal setting, global/national/internal strategy, and random film history knowledge.
