I began my learning journey as a civil engineer in the public administration. In 1999, I transitioned to the private market, where I discovered business management and entrepreneurship, which has been and continues to be my professional vocation. Since 2000, I have been involved in founding and developing numerous (small) companies. I've had the fortune of quickly closing some of them after testing our poor value proposition. I deeply regretted the mistake of prolonging the agony of some businesses for too long. I have experienced, suffered, and learned from being ruined. I've fought for business recovery and ultimately enjoyed planning and executing my exit, leaving them in very capable hands. The greatest triumph has been maintaining good relationships with all my former partners in every case.From 2000 to 2021, I served as the founder, majority shareholder, and CEO of ABM Consulting, a consulting company specializing in water engineering and engineering for the territory. I also co-founded Naus Riudellots SL, focusing on the management and construction of turnkey industrial buildings (2003-2008), and Ecovat Consult, specializing in energy management (2007-2021). Additionally, I co-founded ABM Build, specializing in civil works management (2007-2013), and was a partner in Asepma (2009-2017), specializing in turnkey water treatment plants. I co-founded IR Management engineering & consulting SL (2009-2012), Nella & Pool & Crete SL, dealing with turnkey swimming pools and water treatment facilities (2010-2013), Top Consulting Esportiu SL, offering consultancy for sports facilities (2011-2013), ABM Balkans, ABM subsidiary in Bulgaria (2011-2014), and ABM Water & Infra Projects Private Limited, a subsidiary of ABM in Delhi, India (2011-2013).In 2008, I played a role in the foundation of the Catalan Water Partnership, serving as a board member from 2008 to 2018, former vice-president (2010-2016), and former president (2016-2018).Since 2014, I have collaborated with the MBA program at the University of Girona as a speaker and business plan mentor. I've also mentored in The Collider validation program in 2022 and 2023, The Collider On-Campus UC3 Madrid in 2022, and in 2023, also with Ship2B Foundation. Currently, at Spin-Off Partners, we help scientists and technologists in customer discovery, go-to-market strategies, and fundraising, aiming to found new industrial spin-offs. Additionally, I am working to foster the growth of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Girona Next and the business angels network of BAGI.
