Providing proactive and best practice guidance for all Exchange/O365 messaging environments for multiple customers.

• Manage and maintain an Exchange 2013/O365 messaging environment containing over 10,000 mailboxes. • Maintain and support core vMware environment containing over 120 Hosts and 4900 Guests.• Responsible for all aspects of the email environment, which include design, monitoring, patch management, AV, Spam gateway, Email Encryption, Archive, and Blackberry/Mobile environment.• Develop appropriate Policies to stream line processes and handle system controls and security. • Maintain Archive solution running on Symantec Enterprise Vault.• Provide Tier 3 support for backend server infrastructure for over 900 servers and applications.• Primary area of focus is Messaging, Archive, AD, SAN, VMware, Backup and Disaster Recovery.

• Develop, coordinate and guide strategic IT planning, of policies and trends throughout the organization. Extensive experience with IT General Controls and audit assessments to include SOX, and HIPAA. • Administer and maintain security access for multi-site environment which includes 200+ users, Security access includes AD, SQL, Exchange, VPN, RRAS, Web and file/print.• Responsible for daily log monitoring and system maintenance on 55 servers through out 3 separate environments, also ensure that patch management is kept current and documented for all systems, while always preparing for system upgrades and consolidation efforts. • Manage 2 help desk technicians ensuring that responsibilities are delegated and tasks assigned are carried out timely and professionally. • Monitor and test daily backup procedures ensuring mission critical data is properly backed up to tape in the event of a system failure.• Redesigned the corporation’s entire security model to meet current standards and ensure that all employees can perform their daily tasks while reducing security risks.• Developed and tested Disaster Recovery plans including detailed documentation, testing procedures, pre-positioning and allocation of necessary resources.

• Provided support for LAN/WAN users in a multi platform - multi location environment. • Duties included but not limited to backup logging of 3 servers, cellular communication problems, hardware replacements, OS installs, software upgrades, server and workstation audits, printing problems, and training users.• Assisted with migration from Token ring to Ethernet network. My role in the migration consisted of switch programming, and NIC replacements in servers and desktops.
