I'm an artist, storyteller, and pet care counselor at the Cuppa Joe Studio. The heart-inspired cartoons and tales I create as well as the counseling provided naturally serve to warm the heart and uplift the human spirit. I love to draw. I find that drawing serves as an avenue by which I connect to the heart, drawing more deeply from the heart’s inspiration. The art and counseling serve to alleviate stress, tension, pain, and fear as well as to foster greater clarity, compassion, and understanding. For the past several years, I have worked with hospice patients and their caregivers,through the end-of-life transition process.As a non-denominational minister, I have served as an officiant for more than 75 weddings and baby blessings. I also have served families and their loved ones through the end-of-life transition.

Served as Chicago City Director for the Santa Monica, CA based Insight Transformational Seminars, an educational program for adults. Managed volunteers, served as communication liaison with Santa Monica home office, and coordinated enrollment process for Chicago area seminars.
