Confession: I have a professional development plan. It lives in my desk and surfaces weekly to serve as a reminder that improvement builds day upon day. The larger purpose of this document is to hold me as a leader accountable to the value I stand for the most: growth. From personal growth to the professional development of my team, I truly believe that by forging strong connections and maintaining alignment with goals, we can surpass our targets and, ultimately, bring greater benefits to the patients we treat. As a Senior Director of Marketing at Pharming Healthcare, Inc. with an MBA and 20+ years of progressive leadership experience across therapeutic categories, I lead the HAE brand team to develop patient and HCP-centered strategies and touchpoints. I partner with executives and colleagues to devise and implement the core messages and tactics that expand product penetration in crowded markets. Bringing a coaching mindset, I leverage each individual's strengths to build high-performing teams that drive sales to new heights in the rare disease space. Coaching is a key word for me. On weekends, I take my love for motivating others to the field, serving as a volunteer sports director for a residential treatment center to enable fostered children to build their confidence and self-esteem through energizing sports groups. During clinics, I see how the drive to compete instills a love for continuous improvement that, in time, translates to the pursuit of excellence throughout life. From the office to the court, I nurture collaboration, teamwork, resiliency, and passion because these are the core attributes that achieve planned results without sacrificing the people who matter most.
