Robert Cornish founded Richter in early 2008 with the intent to build an agency focused on communication strategies that support sales growth for business-to-business technology-related companies. Founder And CeoCorol Acquisitions, Llc Aug 2004 - Feb 2007After my experience with my previous company, I wanted to build a real estate company that did traditional buying, renovating and selling properties. I started the company and we quickly sourced our first deal, a short-sale that we secured, negotiated with the bank and renovated. We then sold it making $47,000. That got us started. Our next deal netted about $127,000 and we went on to do about $960,000 our first year and over $1.3M year two. While I really enjoyed building Corol, my heart wasn't fully in it and I realized I wanted to do something that creatively engaged me. The agency idea still lingered and I knew I wouldn't be in it for the long haul. So I turned it over to my then partner and moved on to my next and current venture.

Founder And CeoCornish Investments Inc 2003 - 2004This was my first company. I had made a considerable sum of money trading stocks and decided to take those funds and start my first venture. Real estate was heating up and I had been reading a lot about real estate deals, structure etc. Cornish Investments did two things:1) Helped find and facilitate deals for investors 2) Provided small, short-term loans to provide investors fix-up capital In the first year, we completed over 100 transactions with investors. It was a wild year. It was also my first experience with less than ethical people which ended up costing me a fortune and draining any cash I had accumulated from my stock investments. A real eye opener and fast MBA in learning to gauge people.

SalesSewell Automotive Companies 1999 - 2003Dallas, Tx, UsWhile a student, I was recruited by Sewell Automotive Companies to start as a sales assistant which helped give me full working knowledge of how a dealership operates so that was my next adventure and first experience learning the business. In school, I read Carl Sewell' book called "Customers for Life" which talked about his obsession for customer service and I knew after reading that book that I wanted to spend some time there to see it in action. Carl was mentored by Stanley Marcus, founder of Neiman Marcus and it showed. The dealership looked nothing like a typical car dealership, instead, it looked like a high end department store similar to Neiman's. That experience carried over throughout my business-life. I have a strong drive to deliver the best customer service we can across my company and we're always working to improve, survey the customers and find better ways to service them.
