IPMP Group was a new-start that operated private clinics providing general practice doctor services. Formed in 2012, the company grew to acquire over 15,000 private patients from 5 locations in Ireland. The company expanded the business internationally with the opening of their first clinic in London in early 2015. Projects:• Create business plan making the business case for the expansion into the UK• Merging an acquired medical centre business in London into the group structure• Implement UK GAAP, UK company & employment law and UK taxation legislation• Restructure group to reduce tax exposure• Establishment of a shared services centre achieving significant cost savingsResponsibilities:• Manage finance team of 4 people, ensuring preparation of accurate and timely Financial Statements• Put financial reporting and performance management infrastructure in place• Design and implement effective internal controls to ensure highest accounting accuracy• Ensure high standard for tax compliance and corporate governance• Budgeting, cash-flow management and financial performance reporting• Manage HR function for the group

Dual reporting position located in the European Tax HQ with responsibilities split between (1) local statutory/taxation departments and (2) internal reporting for consolidation in US HQ. Responsible for the accounting, external audit management, trade register filings and tax returns for a number of financial companies located in Ireland, Switzerland, Luxembourg and the Netherlands. July 2001 to July 2003 – Company Accountant Responsible for cash-flow management and budgeting, preparation of monthly management accounts, preparation of statutory accounts and management of external audits, consolidation of group financial statements, co-ordinate with oil production joint-ventures partners and mine-site subsidiary, completion of tax returns in Ireland, UK & Isle of Man, preparation of published annual reports and shareholder meeting presentations.
