As member of the Philips Innovation Board, ESG Committee, I&S Leadership team, I&D council and the Philips Foundation Board, I drive ESG & Sustainability agenda as core part of our purpose, strategy and way of working. I am passionate about the innovation potential of purpose-led businesses to address global sustainable development challenges and to create long term value for all stakeholders. Supporting Philips Chief Innovation & Strategy Officer, member of the global I&S Leadership team. Responsible for initiating and driving strategic programs and transformation initiatives across Philips Innovation, Strategy, Design, IP&S and Sustainability, integrating across the Innovation- and Strategy Leadership Team; translating strategic objectives of our company into an effective innovation and R&D plan and capabilities.

As General Manager of the global Group Strategy team and secretary of the Strategy Management team, I am responsible for building and managing our central strategy team, driving functional excellence and working with the Philips Leadership team to identify strategic challenges for Philips, strengthen the strategy network across Philips’ businesses, markets and functions and initiating, driving and delivering complex, cross-organizational strategy projects.

Globally responsible for the Philips innovation program for sustainable development (EcoVision) that drives sustainability in Philips strategy, innovation and business development. EcoVision5 runs through 2015 and is build around three innovation areas:1. Bringing care to people (2015 Target: 500 million lives touched)2. Improving energy efficiency of Philips products (2015 Target: 50% better than 2009) 3. Closing the materials loop (2015 Targets:Double global collection and recycling amounts and recycled materials in products compared to 2009)

Member of the Board of Trustees. The Foundation promotes the creation of sustainable value in Spain through innovation and entrepreneurship, working through various programs with academia, entrepreneurs, companies and investors.

Circularity Capital is a specialist private equity firm dedicated to facilitating the achievement of attractive returns for investors through supporting small to medium sized businesses to seize the commercial opportunities of the circular economy. Circularity Capital is affiliated to a wide range of circular economy networks, including through its membership of the finance sub-group of the CE100 program of the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
