After graduating from West Point in 2007 I served 10 years as a US Army Officer, leading teams globally to do some of the most exciting and fulfilling work imaginable. During this time I honed my leadership skills, team building ability, and operational competence, all bolstered by the grit and resourcefulness instilled during years of military service. In 2015, the intrigue of entrepreneurship and untapped civilian opportunities triggered a course correction, so I opted to depart the Army and pursue my next adventure in business. Since completing graduate school, I have worked at Northrop Grumman as an Operations Program Engineer and Manager overseeing the operations for 10+ programs. This position allows me to interact with a diverse cross-functional team of engineers, supply chain experts, and manufacturing professionals to transmute conceptual designs into life-saving hardware used by our warfighters. In parallel, my wife and I started a non-profit together to provide educational resources to underserved communities globally. We’re partnered with a team in Ghana, and plan to ship our first “learning community” container in Summer 2022. Also, I started my own real estate investment company in 2019 focused on commercial multifamily properties and have completed about $2M in transaction volume to date. I have other business ventures brewing, and hopefully I can share those details soon!If you think, based on my experience and education, that I can help you or your organization in any way, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I love opportunities to collaborate, learn and grow, so feel free to contact me.
