This project, in association with Wellcome Trust and researchers from Tulane University and the University of Michigan, sought to enhance cross-disciplinary science that addresses: (1) how dietary choices influence health and environmental outcomes; (2) how such choices can be modified through public policy; and (3) how these choices and outcomes evolve over time.

Served as the Deputy Chief of Operations, leading a 4-person team to manage near‑term planning, training, and movements for 1,100 employees across five continents. In this role I served as focal point for all near-term / current operations including monitoring all of the organization's activities to include unit training, construction projects, and deployments. I helped synchronize operational and training plans to ensure the organization was ready to deploy and provide engineer support throughout the Pacific region. Also, I marshalled resources to address high priority, urgent, and/or sensitive situations within the organization to maintain operational efficiency and support adjacent leaders.

Served as the Director of a team of 25 deep sea divers providing underwater engineering support to various agencies on three continents throughout the Pacific Ocean. I provided leadership, training, and managed the welfare of all employees, while also managing $4 Million in organizational property and a yearly operational budget of over $120,000. I also engaged often with senior leadership and VIPs, from general officers to foreign officials, to solicit support and advise on progress towards organizational objectives and priorities.

Served as the Deputy Chief of Operations of a multifaceted engineering organization deployed in support of Operation New Dawn in Iraq and Kuwait. I led a 10-person team to manage 1,260 employees dispersed in dynamic environments throughout Iraq and Kuwait, and leveraged advanced data and communications systems to ensure success and safety. I also facilitated receipt, management, staffing and distribution of operational guidance documents to internal and external agencies.

Served as the Deputy Director of Underwater Engineering Operations for two functional teams of underwater engineers, each consisting of 25 divers capable of world-wide deployment. I directed a 5-person team to oversee all administration, supply chain activities, and coordinated all unit maintenance and logistics functions for worldwide movement of more than 240 pieces of equipment worth over $8 million. Further, I oversaw all planning and execution of the organization's strategic initiatives and training.
