Managing Vodafone UK’s portfolio of Meraki based WAN, LAN & Wi-Fi products

Working with Vodafone’s partners across the globe to enhance their B2B business units, looking at product strategy, proposition development and go to market activities. In some cases this is sharing details of Vodafone’s products, propositions & processes and in others this involves undertaking detailed market analysis and using this to help a partner develop their own.In addition to product strategy there is also a focus on the use of big data within the partner’s business. This goes beyond the use of data to make business decisions, track performance and improve customer targeting to ensuring that there are the appropriate data governance, quality and management capabilities in place to ensure the data available is correct and well defined.

Supporting pre and post sales across Vodafone’s wide portfolio of fixed connectivity and security products.This includes running workshops with customers covering Vodafone's products and roadmaps in addition to providing detailed input into both the pre-sales solution and low level designs for some our largest and most complex deals.

Worked with the product & strategy teams to develop innovative new product capabilities and ways of demonstrating Vodafone SD-WAN internally. Demonstration audiences included our customers and industry analysts at a range of events including Mobile World Congress and at analyst events.As part of this role also took the lead in designing, building and maintaining the team’s lab environment with a range of servers, switches, routers and firewalls using tools like MaaS, Ansible and Terraform.

Fourth rotation of the Discover Graduate Scheme.Establishing a capability to communicate Vodafone’s cloud strategy throughout the business.

In my third rotation of the Vodafone Discover Technology graduate scheme I joined the Systems Architecture team.During my time working in the team I was responsible for supporting my colleagues in using our lab environment as well as delivering a series of test cases for our SDN & NFV proof of concepts.These test cases were for Vodafone's early work looking at SD-WAN encompassed a range of scenarios across a number of vendors and technologies.

During my second rotation I worked in the Governance and Delivery Operations team within Single Front Door where I was responsible for the development and rolling out of several new tools and processes for handling bespoke enterprise customer orders and internal demand.

My first 6 month rotation was working across the New Technology and Innovations and Radio Product teams in the Access Centre of Competence. During this time I was involved in the CrowdCELL and 4GFi projects which were demonstrated at MWC as well as the demonstration of uplink Carrier Aggregation and 64-QAM encoding for the uplink in Vodafone Ireland, a European first.

Ensuring the safety of the athletes and coaches at the boat club
