STEMscopes is the only Prek-12 Science Curriculum to increase student outcomesOur partner School Districts in New England are all talking about our Prek-12 Science Curriculum's ability to increase teacher effectiveness and student outcomes in the classroom. The story starts with RICE University, that created the STEMscopes curriculum, written on the specific Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). In writing the Science Curriculum on the standards, the dynamic has shifted completely, for the Teacher, Principal and Superintendent. That dynamic is the School District's ability to free up teacher time, to focus on the hands-on science that is leading to greater student engagement and therefore student outcome. RICE University's latest research study, involving more than 360,000 students shows an increase in passing rates from districts' using STEMscopes, vs. those that do not. The NGSS has further shifted the paradigm in teaching and therefore learning, with STEMscopes offering the only solution to school districts, making that change. Our partners recognize that it's not only a great science curriculum that is making the difference, but also the implementation, training and support. We have too many stories from our partner districts, both in New England and outside that report having teachers being more prepared to teach the new standards, and having classrooms better organized to focus on STEM.
