As a software developer I was responsible for designing and developing dedicated web applications for Media Internet Devices. Big part of the job was to work on the edge with the latest technology and hardware and solving discovered problems on our platform. But during few days of talks I noticed that the company do not have anyone who will take care of their quality assurance of the code which they create. Since then I become the only one person in the company working with real QA and building whole infrastructure for that from scratch.The main task was to find out/develop test methodology for existing environment and increase quality of existing software (C++, C#, Windows CE).I learned a lot about product life time and test cycles and how important are good design tests for the software. I also found out how hard can be a communication between testers and developers and that very important is to focus on common goals and avoid any internal conflicts. Show less
