• Consulting for the Food and Nutrition division in a small team. Developed a new HTML 5 online system for NJ’s implementation of the USDA SFSP.Delivered the SFSP online application and reimbursement modules on schedule.
• Used Java 8, Spring Framework 5, Spring Data with JPA (backed by Hibernate), Apache TomEE, Oracle 12c, various libraries via Apache Maven, jQuery, and Bootstrap 4.
• Incorporated usage of Node.js projects to compile (using Babel) and minimize the application’s JavaScript to allow access to current ECMAScript features and still allow the code to be backwards compatible with older.
• Eliminated all accessibility warnings identified by Chrome and browser plugins, by following recommended guidelines, except for color contrast (which was outside my purview).After completion of SFSP project, identified.
• Designed a hierarchy of libraries and package naming conventions that would be used by all online applications going forward to improve maintainability. Also added null annotations in the design to leverage null safety.

• EGS (result of merger between NCO Financial Systems and APAC) - ARM Division - CRS Programming (Collections Data Processing)
• Continued same responsibilities as with NCO Group - supporting the business programs for collections data processing, Java client/server environment, and media storage and retrieval software.
• Updated JSPs to be more standards compliant and to conform to OWASP guidelines and security.
• Updated media retrieval application to use DataTables, a jQuery plug-in, for an enhanced user experience.
• Proto-typed connecting the Java client/server application to the FACS collection system using SOAP and the Apache CXF library.
• The introduction of another collection system demonstrated weaknesses in our existing collection system data model.

• NCO Group, ARM Division - CRS Programming
• Maintained C/C++ client/server application to integrate with core collection system, CRS Platinum, a C based application on HP-UX 11i V1.
• Wrote shell scripts, C, and C++ data interface programs for CRS data import/export.
• Working with our support contractor, submitted patches and performed testing for CRS updates and fixes.
• Architect and lead developer of a Java 6 based client/server, Spring enabled, Maven compiled, and Tomcat UI/app-server hosted application environment, on HP-UX, to replace the older C/C++ client/server used with CRS.
• Integrated open source libraries such as Apache Commons, Hibernate ORM, Apache POI, ServingXML, Quartz Scheduler, and Apache ActiveMQ.

• Using C++, wrote and maintained MFC object oriented program to extract financial data from competing software packages; Centerpiece, dbCAMS+, and Advent Axys. ODBC record sets were used to connect to Oracle 8i database.
• Using C, wrote and maintained data interface programs to automate the conversion and processing of financial data sourced in flat files to and from databases (FoxPro and Oracle 8i).
• Problem resolution tasks included researching within raw data files and querying results from databases. Pre-processed data within xBASE database tables was evaluated using custom written FoxPro SQL queries and.
