Technical delivery of changes to financial applications :I started my career as graduate trainee in Hamilton, mentored by the regional manager in software development. I took over being the account manager for a large payroll and had 3 staff for development and testing. I moved to Wellington, developed and supported large financial databases. After Y2K I became technical owner for customer facing funds management systems, I managed vendors and directed external application development. After performing hardware moves for multiple large and complex unix systems upgrades, I moved to support new security systems that I implemented. From there I supported the banks core customer relationship management system, managing vendors and supporting engineers, DBAs and system owners.
