• Oil and gas industry litigation, permitting, and leasing experience
• Consistently guided clients on current and future legislative changes including the recent and ongoing modifications to OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standards

• Advised and represented state environmental agencies including the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, Ohio Environmental Protection Agency, and the Ohio Department of Commerce (Bureau of Underground Storage Tank.
• Successfully led defense of public records mandamus actions filed against the Ohio Department of Natural Resources and Ohio EPA
• Served as the Environmental Enforcement Section's expert on public records compliance and processed dozens of high profile and highly technical public records requests
• Significant appellate advocacy including amicus representation before the Supreme Court of Ohio involving local zoning and state environmental regulation
• Successful litigation of several environmental case types and media, including petroleum, oil and gas, solid waste, hazardous waste, construction and demolition debris, water resources, air resources, and biological.

• Served as one of the lead attorneys on the Ohio Attorney General's Public Records Unit
• Coordinated and processed over 250 public records requests, some involving major Ohio newspapers including: Plain Dealer, Columbus Dispatch, and Cincinnati Enquirer
• Delivered over 50 presentations on Ohio’s Public Records and Open Meetings Laws including the statutorily mandated training of elected officials
• Successfully defended state clients and agencies against public records mandamus actions
• Co-authored the Ohio Attorney General's Sunshine Laws Manual for 2009, 2010, and 2011
• 2008 Recipient of the Nancy H. Rogers Dedication Award
