Created a cross-functional Voice of the Customer (VoC) that allowed for synthesis of various listening posts across different groups into a comprehensive listening path that allowed for analysis and actionable insights. Creation of a CX Innovation Hub allowed for cross-functional tiger teams, to eliminate silos and drive long-term customer and partner relationships. Using this overall CX model across the org allows a SAAS company to increase retention, reduce churn, and allow expansion - resulting in higher Net Dollar Retention (NDR).Utilized oCTO as both a listening post for CX, to bring back insights for action by internal groups, as well as an amplification for company business strategy and vision among customers, partnerships, partners, analysts, and community. oCTO consisted of Field CTOs, Chief Security Strategist, Chief Healthcare Strategist, and Chief Technology Strategist - designed to listen to VoC and inspire innovation.Built a new CX Partnerships program that allowed organization to focus on entire journey, not just the upfront sales component. This allowed a very leveraged model around both sales and Customer Success, helping drive higher NDR via cloud hyperscalers as well as traditional channel partners.I am as comfortable talking business strategy with the c-suite, as technical strategy. Former technical consultant & trainer, evolved into CTO; I am skilled at taking complex technical issues and breaking down into easily understood components. After earning MBA, left Microsoft PSS in 1994 to found Advantec, taking technical expertise in WinNT as core area for new consulting practice.6 years in US Navy, aboard fast attack submarine & destroyer.
