With over 25 years of public education experience, I am a passionate and visionary leader who is committed to inclusive and culturally responsive organizational transformation. As the Dean of Social Sciences at Chabot College, I oversee 15 departments and programs that serve diverse and underserved student populations.I am also a Lecturer in the San Francisco State University Doctoral Program, where I teach courses on Integrated Budget & Planning and Organizational Behavior, Ethics, and Systemic Reform. As a former Director of Student Equity & Success, I consult on topics of equity, trauma-informed systems, implicit bias, and transformative organizational change. As a trained Board Certified Behavior Analyst, I apply the principles of organizational behavior management within educational settings to enhance institutional effectiveness and student success. I have received multiple honors and certifications for my work, including the Distinguished Student Achievement Award and the Hood Scholar Recipient for the Graduate School of Education.
