Cybersecurity Senior Analyst
Current- Correlate all reported events from various systems and network areas where potential security incident is identified- Analyze security incidents and make recommendations for changes to the environment that can help in the removal of vulnerabilities and reduction in the risk of exploitation that may result in potential incidents- Monitor security systems and keep up to date with attacks- Perform as an escalation point for medium and high-severity incidents- Participate in the investigations being performed by the IT team- Effectively providing notice of violations to affected parties while trying to reduce incidents of false positives- Handle and conduct assessments of raw event data logs originating from a variety of sources such as endopoint devices, network infrastructure and cloud platforms, in addition to execute analysis for conducting forensic analysis and decode diverse log data to aid in organizational cybersecurity efforts- Perform precise, real-time evaluation and correlation of logs and alerts originating from a multitude of client devices, emphasizing the identification of potential security incidents based on the events- Carry out systematic analysis to ensure reliable threat recognition and respond to security incidents in the determined timeframe- Conduct in-depth analysis and evaluation of security incidents, escalate cases to relevant client resources or appropriate internal departments as necessary, ensuring comprehensive incident response and remediation. Collaborating cross-functionality for prompt incident resolution.- Responsible for managing all client interactions, emphasizing customer satisfaction, utilizing diverse communication channels including telephone and live online chats to enhance customer experience and response efficiency- Security tools: Using an internal cybersecurity platform developed by Secureworks, specifically designed for threat detection, investigation, and response (TDIR).
