Marketing & Communications Director
During a transition period for Columbia Festival of the Arts, returned for 1 season to serve as Marketing & Communications Director. Responsible for oversight of all Marketing operations for the Festival, Social Media, as well as Public Relations and visibility for Columbia Festival of the Arts. Organization downsized after departure of then Executive Director at the end of the 2016 Season and moved back into freelance production.

Additional position as Local Casting Director in tandem with LA Casting Director Paul Ruddy includes hire and negotiation for several Leading and Principal roles with talent including Matt Servitto, Rain Pryor, Dan Franko, Matthew Bowerman, Travis Hudson, plus hire and management of over 130 Background Talent during the coarse of a five (5) week shooting schedule.

Robert has worked on various freelance contracts throughout his career, most recently completing a 10 month contract for large Arts Festival now in its 26th year in Columbia, Maryland to manage & oversee all aspects of programming, talent booking, budgets, and production management for 2013 Festival season. He worked directly with Executive Director, major artists & agents for top notch presentations such as Pilobolus, Paula Poundstone, Reduced Shakespeare Company, Rhythmic Circus, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, US Army Field Band, and Sundance Film Festival, among others. Management included independent bands for large outdoor LakeFest (est. 30,000 attendance), educational workshops & promotional events. Additional duties included implementation & design management of publications including Festival tri-fold, brochure and 72 page program magazine. Serious health issues in August 2013 prevented return to Festival.

As Casting Associate, member of team to win an Emmy® Award and an Artios Award for casting HBO's GAME CHANGE starring Julianne Moore and directed by Jay Roach and casting Emmy® Nomination for Season one of HBO's VEEP starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus. LINCOLN starring Daniel Day Lewis. Other projects included casting for multiple independent films, commercials, industrials and Public Service Announcements.
