Together they adapted Diane Stanley’s Award winning book RUMPELSTILTSKIN’S DAUGHTER into a children’s musical that has been presented to critical acclaim in the prestigious Assembly Rooms at the Edinburgh Festival, at the National Theatre in DC as part of their Saturday Morning Series, and for Theatre IV, the State Children’s Theatre of Virginia. A 2011 mounting as part of the Earl’s Court Festival in London brought new attention to this joyful adaptation.Stage productions & tour management include FRIED CHICKEN & LATKES starring Rain Pryor and AFTER ALL starring Tony Award nominated actress Anita Gillette. Robert's new play 41N 50W based on the 1912 Titanic Senate hearings showcased recently at the new St. James Theatre in London and is currently under development for larger production in both the United Kingdom and the United States.

On a continuing basis and for many years Robert has enjoyed much time at sea as one of the top rated Guest Lecturers on board Queen Mary 2 with the Cunard Line's award winning Insights® Enrichment Programme. His topics on film and theatre include a retrospective of the Newsreels with rare color footage of the D-Day invasion in Normandy and the Liberation of Paris captured by his Grandfather as a newsreel cameraman during WWII.

Managed all production management aspects and was Casting Director of SAG Feature Film A COMEDY OF HORRORS, This four part independent feature had multiple directors including Matt Servitto, Jaime Nash, Ken Arnold and Dan DeLuca. Responsible for staff of approximately 45, cast of 25, and multiple Background Talent. As with previous similar productions, managed daily operations of a large motion picture production including budget oversight, payroll, independent contractors, purchasing, production office set up & operations, producer/team relations, cost reporting, petty cash, deal memos, human resources, Federal/StateTax documentation and related duties.

During a transition period for Columbia Festival of the Arts, returned for 1 season to serve as Marketing & Communications Director. Responsible for oversight of all Marketing operations for the Festival, Social Media, as well as Public Relations and visibility for Columbia Festival of the Arts. Organization downsized after departure of then Executive Director at the end of the 2016 Season and moved back into freelance production.

Manage all aspects of a SAG Feature Film THE NIGHT WATCHMEN, Directed by Mitch Altieri, Starring James Remar, Matt Servitto, Ken Arnold, Dan DeLuca, Kevin Jiggets, Kara Luiz, Max Wilbur, Diona Reasonover, Tiffany Shepis and Rain Pryor. Responsible for staff of approximately 45, cast of 19, and multiple Background Talent. Manage daily operations of a large motion picture production including budget oversight, payroll, independent contractors, purchasing, production office set up & operations, producer/team relations, cost reporting, petty cash, deal memos, human resources, Federal/StateTax documentation, chief cook & bottle washer, first aid, on-site emotional therapist, and overall dogsbody. Additional position as Local Casting Director in tandem with LA Casting Director Paul Ruddy includes hire and negotiation for several Leading and Principal roles with talent including Matt Servitto, Rain Pryor, Dan Franko, Matthew Bowerman, Travis Hudson, plus hire and management of over 130 Background Talent during the coarse of a five (5) week shooting schedule.

Robert has worked on various freelance contracts throughout his career, most recently completing a 10 month contract for large Arts Festival now in its 26th year in Columbia, Maryland to manage & oversee all aspects of programming, talent booking, budgets, and production management for 2013 Festival season. He worked directly with Executive Director, major artists & agents for top notch presentations such as Pilobolus, Paula Poundstone, Reduced Shakespeare Company, Rhythmic Circus, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, US Army Field Band, and Sundance Film Festival, among others. Management included independent bands for large outdoor LakeFest (est. 30,000 attendance), educational workshops & promotional events. Additional duties included implementation & design management of publications including Festival tri-fold, brochure and 72 page program magazine. Serious health issues in August 2013 prevented return to Festival.

As Casting Associate, member of team to win an Emmy® Award and an Artios Award for casting HBO's GAME CHANGE starring Julianne Moore and directed by Jay Roach and casting Emmy® Nomination for Season one of HBO's VEEP starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus. LINCOLN starring Daniel Day Lewis. Other projects included casting for multiple independent films, commercials, industrials and Public Service Announcements.

Robert worked in London’s West End as Assistant to late producer Richard Armitage on several hit shows, including ME AND MY GIRL with Robert Lindsay & Emma Thompson, HIGH SOCIETY with Natasha Richardson, THE ENTERTAINER with Peter Bowles, and Rowan Atkinson’s one man show A NEW REVUE. While in London, Robert produced and directed the successful West End debut of “IS THERE LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL?” at the Donmar Warehouse.
