Music Ministry InternHeartland Fellowship Free Methodist Church Sep 2004 - Apr 2007For two and a half years, I met weekly with the senior pastor to plan weekly Sunday services, and other special services. My main role was to lead the music on Sunday morning. The pastor and I introduced the use of computer presentation software to project the lyrics on a screen. I also found the need for, and produced, a full list of our music repertoire in order to know what we have sung, when we have sung it, and where each musical piece is kept. We further introduced new music with lyrics that contributed to shaping the congregation theologically, while maintaining the interest of an audience from children to nursing home aged persons. I also attended monthly board meetings and gave input. In Fall, 2006, we attempted an intentional community, for which it was my job to prepare and present the idea to the board.
