I am a strategic team leader with deep experience of risk management as well as strategy implementation through project management and operational transition. My expertise lies across the spectrum in asset management from front office investment risk to oversight, regulatory compliance and operational risk. I am an experienced collaborator with investment teams across all major asset classes and have managed broad teams with international exposure. I have key skills in building meaningful relationships with senior management colleagues, directors, investment teams, investors and other strategic stakeholders. I have led the risk management functions at 2 of the largest 3rd party fund ManCos in the UK and Ireland; responsible for c. $100bn books at each. Previously, I led the risk management and quantitative market strategy team at J Rothschild Capital Management from 2013 to 2018, within the investment team managing the $4bn RIT Capital Partners investment portfolio. I originally left academia in 2008 on an industrial placement with SocGen in Equity Derivatives before joining GAM’s graduate fund management programme as a Quantitative Analyst in 2009.
