Roberto Blandin's 30 year professional career as an internationally recognized artist is a living testament to the musical richness of his Venezuelan upbringing and the country's cultural heritage founded on a fusion of a variety of geographical and historical worlds. Roberto has done recordings for the BBC Radio, Capitol Radio and World Service for both TV and film and played in concerts, special performances and music festivals across Europe and the United Kingdom including The Royal Albert Hall, The National Theatre, The Barbican Centre, The British Museum, Bolivar Hall, Victoria & Albert Museum and Cuba Lives! as well as The Beijing Music Festival in China. In London he played with Altamar, Trio Milagro, Alma Viva, Merengada, Septeto Siboney and Conjunto Sabroso, held a 10 year residency at Trader Vic's at The Hilton Park Lane in London, and jammed with many of the greats. In 2002 Roberto was recruited and relocated to Hong Kong.
