Hi! My name is Roberto and I'm a Physiotherapist.I am currently registered with the professional body of physiotherapists and I am presently collaborating in a private multi-disciplinary clinic based in Monzambano, in Italy, where I work, as a self-employed worker, with other health care providers such as physiotherapists, psychologists, speech therapists and dietitians since 2017.Access at the clinic is direct, therefore I am often the first health professional who evaluates the patient and can do medical screening or differential diagnosis. At my workplace I assess every day patients who experience pain, acute and chronic. I conduct evaluations of people with neuromusculoskeletal issues on a daily basis , in a clinical setting. The approach I use, according to the most recent evidence, is biopsychosocial: it is focused on human interaction, education, gradual exposure to exercise and manual therapy, if necessary. In my clinic I am also in charge of professional athletes, runners in particular: I help them with the load management in order to prevent injuries and to improve performance and I also carry out first stage assessments and post injury treatments.
