A fellow of the Australian College of Intensive Care Medicine, Roberto Chiletti is director of the Extra Corporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) program and Clinical Deputy Director of Cardiac ICU at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne.A graduate of the University of Padova, Dr Chiletti completed general paediatric training in Italy before focussing on critical care following his relocation to Australian in 2006.Now a specialist in Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care, Dr Chiletti has also worked as a consultant physician in the field of Neonatology at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne.Although principally based at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, Dr Chiletti has also worked as a consultant physician in the Intensive Care Units as Monash Children’s Hospital and New Zealand’s primary paediatric hospital, Starship Hospital Auckland.
