From January 2012 till December 2021 I had the pleasure to be the general manager of this 4 Star hotel located in a manufacturing and entrepreneurial area located in province of Verona and close to the cultural cities of Ferrara, Montagnana, Vicenza, Padova and Verona as well.
The Hotel Villa Bartolomea in figures:
• 86 rooms (10 apartments, 4 suites, 9 junior suites, 62 corporate, superior and comport rooms).
• 1 SPA with heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym
• 1 restaurant with 2 dining rooms and 3 banqueting rooms
• 4 meeting rooms up to 150 guests each
• 21 hotel staff (front office - F&B – housekeeper and chambermaids – maintenance)

Da gennaio 2012 fino a fine 2022 ho avuto il piacere di essere il direttore di questa nuova struttura alberghiera a 4 stelle nata per volontà di un imprenditore di spicco della Pianura veronese e situato in una zona di grande importanza produttiva ed imprenditoriale ad una comoda distanza da Verona, Ferrara, Mantova, Montagnana e Vicenza.
L’Hotel Villa Bartolomea in numeri:
• 86 stanze (10 residence, 4 suites, 9 junior suites, 62 tra camere comfort, corporate e superior)
• 1 SPA con piscina coperta e riscaldata, sauna e palestra
• 1 ristorante con 2 sale per clientela individuale e 3 sale per banchettistica
• 4 sale meeting con capienza media di 150 persone ciascuna
• 21 dipendenti (front office - F&B - governante e cameriere ai piani - manutenzione).

The mission of the Convention Bureaux is the promotion and marketing of the territory they represent to the meeting and conference industry.
During my six years in this project of the Veneto Region I worked for the lands of Treviso, Verona and Garda Lake.
In the start up period I worked on:
• creation of the corporate image and the web site
• drafting of the regulations of the Convention Bureaux
• creation of promotional material such as brochures and institutional films • coordination of the press office
At the same time I had the opportunity to improve the business through:
• identification and certification of suppliers in the conference business sector through direct visits to hotels with meeting rooms, agencies (PCO & DMC), historical buildings, stately homes, institutional premises and various services (technical services, translation companies, hostess providers, caterers, transport companies.

Nel progetto finanziato dalla Regione Veneto per l’apertura dei Convention Bureaux provinciali, mi sono stati affidati i territori di Treviso e Verona & Lago di Garda. Obiettivo dei Convention Bureaux è la promozione e la commercializzazione del territorio verso i mercati turistici congressuali.
Attraverso una prima fase di start up mi sono occupato di:
• creazione dell’immagine corporate e portali web
• stesura del regolamento dei Convention Bureau
• creazione di supporti commerciali quali brochure e filmati istituzionali
• coordinamento di ufficio stampa
Nel contempo ho avuto la possibilità di strutturare la parte commerciale attraverso:
• individuazione e certificazione dei fornitori della filiera congressuale con sopralluoghi presso hotels, agenzie, dimore storiche, sedi istituzionali e aziende di forniture complementari (service tecnici, società di traduzione e fornitura hostess,
catering, aziende di trasporti)

As a member of the Sales & Marketing team I was responsible for the organization of events (conventions, meetings, ceremonies, incentive events, leisure groups) and business relations with customers.
It was my task to interface with the food & beverage department, assisting guests in the composition of their event.
The activity was carried out for both parts of the structure:
• Bauer Hotel – 5 star
• The Palazzo – 5 star deluxe

All’interno del Sales & Marketing staff mi occupavo dell’organizzazione di eventi (convention, meeting, cerimonie, incentive, leisure groups) e dei vari rapporti commerciali presenziando anche alle fiere di settore. Tra le mie mansioni c’era il coordinamento dei reparti dell’hotel e l’accompagnamento dei clienti durante lo svolgimento dei loro eventi.
Tali attività venivano da me svolte per le strutture:
• Bauer Hotel - 5 stelle
• Il Palazzo - 5 stelle lusso

In cooperation with the other group departments (Boscolo Hotels - Boscolo Tours)I managed the incentive markets both incoming and outgoing. It was also my task to follow all customers personally, managing sales relationships with airlines, land operators, hotel chains and all the services necessary for companies to organize and manage the commissioned events.

In collaborazione con le altre divisioni del Gruppo (Boscolo Hotels – Boscolo Tours) gestivo i vari mercati Incentive sia in incoming che in out-going. Era, inoltre, mio compito seguire personalmente tutti i clienti gestendo i rapporti commerciali con compagnie aeree, land operators, catene alberghiere e tutte quelle aziende di servizi necessari per l’organizzazione e la gestione degli eventi commissionati

Working in the sales staff, I took care of sales management of the conference centre with 22 meeting rooms and the food and beverage department. It was also my responsibility to manage the various segments of the tourism market (groups - events - individual). As assistant to the Director of Sales I was also responsible for contracts with tour operators for the annual planning of the hotel spaces (group and individual allotments) and for the various public relations activities of potential customers visiting the hotel.

Inserito nello sales staff, mi occupavo dell’aspetto commerciale/organizzativo del centro congressi composto da 22 sale, ufficio F & B e della gestione dei vari segmenti di mercato turistico (gruppi – eventi – individuali). Come assistente al Director of Sales mi occupavo anche dei contratti con i tour operators per la pianificazione annuale degli spazi alberghieri (gruppi ed allotment di individuali) nonché delle varie attività di pubbliche relazioni rivolte a potenziali clienti in visita presso la struttura.
