Title: Validation of a Numerical Procedure to Extract the Aerodynamic Derivatives of Re-entry VehiclesUsing numerical simulations, it was possible to validate a procedure that can extrapolate the aerodynamic derivatives which qualify the aerodynamic stability of a spacecraft during re-entry phase.For this study forced oscillations technique was performed on two commercial CFD codes: Ansys Fluent and Metacomp CFD++.

Squadra Corse is a student team that is involved in the design, production, and testing of an open-wheel racing car to participate in Formula SAE championships every year. In particular, I am concerned with the design and production of the aerodynamic package by developing deportant solutions. Here I learned the use of CAD, CFD, pre-processing and optimization programs in a dynamic and challenging environment.
