What I learned and developed: Elaboration, implementation and monitoring of strategic plan. Strategic management of people; crisis management; Management of Social Assets and Institutional Funds; Organizational culture development;What I delivered: As executive director in the year the pandemic began, I led the organization's adequacy by implementing emergency management in shared management with a committee of managers to succeed in reversing a scenario of loss of negative millions predicted for 2020, due to the pandemic , a positive result. This result was achieved through the implementation of a contingency plan prepared and implemented on an emergency basis, which included drastic cost reductions, increased revenues with the implementation of adaptations of the distance services offered, implementation of the Home Office work system. Establishment of the Imaflora branch in Santarém, with the structuring of vehicle and vessel logistics to meet projects in the region in northern Pará; Conception, implementation and management of the Florestas de Valor Programme, whose objective was to promote sustainable productive activities to consolidate protected areas, conserve natural resources and enhance the way of life of traditional populations, indigenous peoples and family farmers who live in them. This Program boosted agroextractive activities in the Amazon, in addition to supporting the structuring of value chains and facilitating their insertion in markets that value their sustainability and origin and implementation of community enterprises in rural communities in the Amazon; Florestas de Valor Program received the Von Martius Sustainability Award from the Brazil-Germany Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2017.

What I learned and developed: logic of action by the third sector in partnership with the private sector, public agencies and international cooperation; raising funds, preparing and negotiating proposals; coordination of projects and teams; conducting FSC and RAS audits on small to large forestry and agricultural enterprises in Brazil and abroad.What I delivered: Development of verification and certification systems UEBT - Union Ethical Bio Trade and FACES Ethical and Solidarity Trade System; structuring of Imaflora's activities in Piracicaba and fundraising - this project was recognized by winning first place in the Mário Covas Open Government Award in 2014; Fundraising with Fundo Vale and the US Forest Service to operate in the Amazon; audits of the Rainforest Alliance Certified agricultural and forestry FSC certification systems; public consultation and engagement of local populations, city hall and other local stakeholders for the creation of approximately 15 million hectares of Protected Areas in the Amazon.
