The objective of Innovation division in Teldat is to provide ideas, labs, and MVPs to stakeholders to create new products and services, focused on security products and services, but not only.I am involved in the whole software lifecycle: from the phase of brainstorming of a new concept to the implementation, passing through investigation, analisys (market and technolgy), presentation to stakeholders, design, implementation, tests, MVP, presentation to trusted customers, etc...Some Teldat security products that emerged from the innovation area are:- Be.Safe Essentials- Be.Safe Corporate- Be.Safe ProfessionalSome others in progress...

The Innovation Area is immerse in a constant search and research new products and technologies we can add to our ecosystem, mainly in cloud. My role in this area is to provide a Cybersecurity aproach to existing technologies and propose and help in development of new security products and features:- Identify market needs from a cybersecurity point of view.- Research and propose solutions internally for the needs detected.- Convert the solutions into products, mainly cloud native (AWS and Azure).- Define cybersecurity products and services. Deploy prototypes and test them.- Create procedures and documentation about new cybersecurity products and services.- Colaborate with R&D area to add new features, improve existing features, an fix bugs in our router OS.- Help to improve Teldat OS (OSDx and CIT) in cybersecurity aspects.- Answer, from a cybersecurity point of view, customer's tenders.- Present new products and solutions internally as a training.- Present and demonstrate new products and solutions to customers.

Teldat ecosystem division is in charge of analyze needs or requirements from our customers (meetins, RFI's, RFP's, tenders) which goes beyond our devices capabilities, in order to find new solutions that cover the requirements.At this moment, most of those requirement refers to network security or cybersecurity and we are basing our solutions on cloud security environments (SWG, FWaaS, SASE).My roles in this scenario are the following:- Analyzing, from a technical point of view, the RFI's and RFP's.- Search for feasible solutions based in our devices and products (routers, SD-WAN).- If it's not possible, find or develope feasible solutions based on a integration between our devices and 3rth party solutions.- Analyze those 3rth party solutions to see what requirements can cover.- Contact and relationship with these 3rth party companies/vendors.- Test and document how the integration works and what requirements can cover. Homologate solutions.- Present new solutions internally and to customers.- Teldat router OS (CIT) improvement proposals to allow or enhance integrations. Also to fix founded bugs.- Internal security and cybersecurity training.- Colaborate in projects that require, in any aspect, security or cybersecurity solutions. Making, documenting and deploying technical proposal in test environment prior to deploy in real environment.- Colaborate with services area to deploy security solutions.- Colaborate with R&D area to implement new features and fix bugs in our router OS.- Research for new security solutions and products.- Pre-sale our new security solutions previously developed.

Presales Systems Engineer for Fortient technologies with the following roles:• Presales: event presentations, Webinars and Workshops.• Demonstrations and PoC's (Proof of Concepts).• Answer RFPs and product sizing.• Professional services (audit, design, testing plan, deployment, installation, documentation, etc.).• Direct support for partners.• Trainer for Fortinet Certifications NSE4, NSE5, NSE6 and NSE7.- Presales engineer for other vendors: Proofpoint, Allot, Silver Peak and FireEye.

Telvent was acquired by Schneider Electric, and I got new roles:Network engineer responsible of deployment, exploitation and maintenance of Telvent and Schneider Electric (part) corporate and business network. These network are composed of CISCO switches(from 2960 to 6500), HP procurve switches, Dell Force10 Switches (Z9000 and S6000), Checkpoint Firewalls (4000 seriesa ppliances and Smart-1management server running Secure Platform 75.40), Fortigate and Stonegate, Optenet proxy web appliances, Wifi CISCO Aironet, Radware Alteon5224XL with several virtual load balancers and Juniper MAG series VPN SSL tunnel concentrator.

Network design, configuration and maintenance of customer infrastructure, with several network technologies:CISCO routers and switches (2900, 3500, 3700, 6500, 7600 (OSPF, EIGRP, andBGP), HP Procurve switches (1800, 2500). Stonegate and Fortigate Firewalls,Load Balancers, Nortel Alteon, bandwidth managers Allot and Packeteer(Blue Coat). Basic knowledge of switches applied to Juniper JUNOS (EX3200,EX3200, EX4200 and EX8200).

A Telefonica Moviles project. This project consists in the migration of an old an caotic LAN infrastructure based in CISCO 7604 and 7609 devices to a bran newJuniper enviroment. Audit, migration plan, installation, configuration, testingand maintenance of Juniper EX switches and M-320 Routers with JUNOS.

Migration of the entire INEM's network infrastructure. Installation, test and configuration of the new C2 Teldat Atlas 150 equipment. The infrastructure is connected through Frame Relay, ADSL and optical fiber WAN links.

Macrolan and VPNIP Telefonica Data network services.Installation and maintenance of network equipment (Cisco routers andswitches 18xx, 28xx, 35xx, 7200, 1100 and 3100, RiverStone and Teldat C1,C2, Atlas). Integration into the customer's LAN and WANcommunications through Juniper M-40 over ISDN, ADSL, frame relay, andfiber optics.Configuration of RIP, OSPF, EIGRP and ISIS routing protocols in an MPLS infrastructure in order to connect customer LAN segments of all their offices in Spain.
