Roberto Mas received his law degree from Universidad Católica Andres Bello (UCAB) in 2000. Before joining D’Empaire Reyna Abogados in 2012 he worked as a Senior Associate at Romero-Muci & Asociados Despacho de Abogados, a member firm of Deloitte in Venezuela. Roberto has extensive experience advising clients on general corporate matters, upstream and downstream oil and gas matters, mergers and acquisitions, foreign currency exchange control regulations and real estate deals in Venezuela. He also advises Venezuelan private companies and high-net-worth individuals on corporate restructurings and tax planning matters. Roberto became a non-equity Partner at D’Empaire Reyna Abogados in 2014. He was elected to equity partner in 2018. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
