I’m a Health Economist specialized in Social and Healthcare Innovation. I spent the last 20 years working on integrated care and population health management projects with a wide array of public and private healthcare settings across Europe, Latin America and Asia. I have dedicated the last 10 years of my career to Innovation in health and social services and I was lucky enough to be part of the successful Strategy for tackling Chronicity in the Basque Country, where new care delivery models has emerged, particularly for complex chronic patients. As a researcher, my fields of interest and expertise are on Large Scale Transformation, Policy Implementation, Innovation, People-centered Integrated Care and Organizational Learning.Founder of Kronikgune Research Center.Ernst&Young Cyber Fellow.Global Health Leadership Fellow (Rockefeller Foundation).Former member of WHO network of innovators in chronic disease management.Founder of the first winery in the Cantabrian Coast and one internet based enterprise.Founder of the NGO: "Equalia, Mujer y Salud".
