During my tenure as a Junior Cybersecurity Consultant from June 2022 to December 2023, I had the invaluable opportunity to embark on a dynamic journey within the realm of cybersecurity. This role was instrumental in shaping my foundational expertise and provided me with a rich learning environment within the cybersecurity landscape.Throughout this period, I actively engaged in diverse projects and collaborated with seasoned professionals, actively contributing to comprehensive security assessments and vulnerability identification processes. I gained hands-on experience in assessing network infrastructures, applications, and security protocols, learning the nuances of identifying potential weaknesses and formulating strategic solutions to mitigate risks effectively.My role as a Junior Cybersecurity Consultant was not just about technical assessments; it was a gateway to honing interpersonal skills through client interactions, workshops, and consultations. As one of the two Coaches of the Blue Legion Teams within Engineer Jessica Izquierdo's Cybersecurity Capture The Flag (CTF) initiative, I have the privilege of guiding and mentoring a talented group of individuals passionate about cybersecurity. In this capacity, I play a pivotal role in fostering a collaborative and competitive environment aimed at honing participants' skills in tackling real-world cyber challenges.
